The first Taken on a Mobile comp.  Up to three photos can be submitted which have been both take and edited on a mobile phone.

About Us

Aperture Woolwich Photographic Society is a friendly place to enjoy photography and improve your images. Members range from complete beginners to experienced photographers, all keen to learn, share ideas, and get more from their cameras.

There are no formal courses, but you learn through a varied programme of workshops, talks, and hands-on activities. Sessions cover editing, camera skills, and preparing images for display, alongside creative challenges that push you to try something new.

Guest speakers bring fresh ideas and inspiration, sharing their work across subjects such as landscape, street, wildlife, portraiture, and more. Regular competitions give you the chance to test your work, with constructive feedback from experienced judges that helps you progress.

The club is also active beyond the meeting room. Summer evenings often take place outdoors, with photo walks and shoots organised during the year. Social evenings offer a relaxed space to share images, exchange tips, and chat about photography.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your level and you can come along to three events before deciding to join, giving you a chance to see what the club is about.
